I confirm that the workaround is to activate the bletooth.
I found the specifications of the device : http://unex.com.tw/product/dhxa-195#Specifications
If BT is off, the device activates the secondary antenna (diversity)
Apparently there is a bug in the driver when this happens.

Where can i find v10.0.0.227 and how can i activate bluetooth? it just doesnt do anything. im downloading atheros bluetooth driver v7.4.0.170 now. Will see if it works.

Try my suggestion: turn on the bluetooth and leave it on.
This is not the solution but only a workaround...waiting the new drivers....

Right Click on "My Computer" icon.
Select "Manage"
Select "Device Manager"
Expand "Bluetooth"
Right Click on "Bluetooth USB module"
Select "Enabled"
