I guess so, unless my R7 is secretly a Mac. 

Actually, I said the same thing when someone else recommened it for my Flip last year. It worked for the Flip and I took them out and put them in the R7.

yup u guys are right, just today, i went over to the shop and get myself one piece of 8GB SODiMM 1600mhz 204 pin 1.35v and installed it...walla it works...

sold my previous one to my bro as spareparts hehe.
