While I do not have your specific model (I have the non-best buy version R7-572-6805, which is the same as the 6423 with the exception of the wLan being different) the memory should be the same on your 572G with the graphics processor. I updated mine from 8 to 16 using 2 8GB DDR3/DDR3L 1600Mhz (PC3-12800) 204 pin 1.35v/1.5v modules.
See image.
btw, that image of the internal 572G is the first one I've seen. Nice seeing the heat sink for the graphics processor.

U did bought a pair together as a set of ram i presume? and then you replaced the single one with the pair right? because, i only bought one 1x a fix 1.5 volt SODIMM one which explains the 2 different colors.

No, as the image shows, my R7 had 2 Kingston 4gb modules and I replace it with 2 8GB Crucial modules.

I'm pretty sure you need 1.35V memory, not 1.5V.

Correct, although the kit I bought on Amazon does say 1.35v/1.5v
BTW, my full review of the R7 is here on Amazon.
