Acer Aspire one - No bootable device

Ref: Acer Aspire one 722-0667 

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller V2.0.26 

Check cable connection

PXE-M0F:Exiring Intel PXE Rom

No bootable device- Insert Boot disk & Press any key

 

The above error appears when the power on is set. What do do?

    Good day

     

    Make sure that you have no other storage devices such as external hdd, sd card, etc. Go to the bios by pressing F2 upon switching the machine on, go to boot and make sure that your HDD is set on 1st. If this is the case and the machine still doesnt boot up, you need to get the hard drive changed as it is faulty.

    Hi  I Just Replaced My Hard Drive and Now Im Getting The Same Exact Message Can U Help Me !

    Have you installed an operating system on the hard drive ?

    I'm getting the same error message on mine, I read that Acer has been having a problem with this for a couple of years now and won't to anything about it. Has anyone else heard anything about that?

    yeah im having trouble with this no boot up thing should i just get a new computer ive had this computer for 3 years what should i do
