I need to know if the 722 sound card is attached to the motherboard or a plug-in.

The 3.5mm sound output jack is soldered to the mother board as is in most notebooks and netbooks and does not have the option to replace or change the sound card as you would on a desktop computer.  Hope this helps!

Thank You for  the info. The reason I asked is becouse I only get sound from the left speakers. The right ones have a buzz in it when the charger is working. I checked speakers on another laptop and they work fine, so it has to be my sound card or the jack plug is bad for some reason.  Again thanks for the reply.
