Acer Aspire E1-571 Palmrest too hot to rest on

Hi all, I'm new here but not new to Acer. I've just bought an Acer Aspire e51-571, it was delivered last Saturday (23.11.13), I noticed it was a little hot and thought it was the battery so took it out as I use it mainly on the mains anyway, turns out its not the battery, the palmrest is so hot I cant rest on it to type without having a cooler tray running underneath.  Its still hot buy at least I can type.  Anyone else had this problem or anyone know what I do about it?  Do I send it back to the catalogue or Acer?

Thanks for any replies, much appreciated

I've tried Kiran posting about reducing the battery power to 0% and its cooled down a little, warm enough to type on without being a contortionist, I'm a little happier but shouldnt have to do this on a 3 day old laptop Smiley Sad

Kirans suggestion is a temporary solution, it still needs fixing. I think I need to send it back, such a shame as I like the machine
