Acer Aspire 4736G shut down during start up

Hi,

My laptop keeps shutting down during start up (failed to start). About several seconds after I pushed the start up button. I need to try again for several time until it is successfully starting up. The problem is just during start up, after that its function normally well. Usually after the windows logo appear, I know its not going to off again. What could be the problem?

Thanks.

EDIT: I do have a low disk space. Could that be the cause?

Could be a possible driver or software issue, but I would think it should do it every time if that were the case.

There is simply not enough information for anyone to make a determination of what the cause could be.

I can only suggest that you back up your data first and then return the system to factory defaults to eliminate any software problems.  If it continues with the issue after the software has been restored, it may indicate a hardware issue.

    Hi tech team!

i'm experiencing a similar issue. When i power up it goes on until the windows logo comes up and with a clinking sound it shuts down abruptly.

i've just checked with a service center hoping that its just the fan. Apparently they've suggested i replace some ic attached to the motherboard. with a big price tag. is it far fetched?

this has been going on for some months now. Occasionally it will start when i keep pressure and between ESC and DEL simultaneously. but no more.

What could be wrong here. Would it be possible to fix it without tampering with the motherboard. Kindly advice

You may try to reset the OS.. try on resetting it or restore to a point when u have saved your last restore point..

if nothing does the trick.. then you have to let the acer team handle the problem...

    hope you solve your problem
