My Acer GN246HL has weird red pixel glitches when connected through HDMI

I am extremely disappointed with what came out of the box. Connecting the GN246HL to my GTX 860M laptop with HDMI brings this extremely annoying red pixel bug (the red pixels themselves seemingly outlining certain areas precisely). Along with that, no 144hz or even 120hz support.

Are you using any HDMI adapters?

Have you tried another HDMI cable?

Have you tried connecting it to a different device that can output HDMI?

I have tried three HDMI cables to get the same result.

It's a seamless connection from the monitor to the laptop.

I will try to connect it to my Xbox 360 and will post the results later.

It seems that the issue is universal, the exact same thing happens when the monitor is connected to the Xbox 360 with HDMI. The red lines going vertically are the same on both screens, though the odd red pixel outlining is different.
