I have an Aspire 7535G laptop which I got for free. The sticker says it should have an AMD Turion X2 ZM-82 processor but the BIOS says it has a ZM-84 processor. I have not opened it to check. What is the highest performing CPU and RAM supported by this machine? Thanks

Go to crucial dot com and download their system scanner specific to your machine. Advertised max ram is 4GB but BIOS *might* recognize and use up to 8GB. The most performance gains for the buck usually come from swapping the HDD for a SSD, not a marginally faster or more-core CPU. Jack E/NJ
