Out of curiosity, do you have a habit of opening and closing the lid a lot. Like everytime when you step away from the machine for a few minutes?

I do close the lid 3 or 4 times a day

Your video or the other party's video?

Try moving the lid a bit at a time both upward & downward to see what happens. Try doing/making a video or portrait selfie while moving the lid like this.

OK. Seems like a clean break in a conductor line on the display/camera ribbon. Usually happens in the hinge area from opening/closing the lid. You might find the S7 display/camera ribbon replacement on Amazon. Relatively inexpensive.
