I have an Acer Aspire 5336 laptop that was very dusty and after disassembling it and cleaning the CPU fan, it won't turn on all I get is a black screen, and solid orange light. Can someone please tell me what I can do to fix this? I have already tried re-seating the RAM, taking the battery out and held the power button down for 20-30 seconds, and no fans spin, nothing.

You could try looking for any electrical shortage, look for any metals touching the motherboard, if you can not see, try inserting a small bundle of electrical tape or sellotape( roughly 1-2mm thick) in between the motherboard and the top cover.

The LED light turned pink and the screen went dark, now it won't turn on at all, no lights, fans spinning, nothing. I tried re-seating the memory and held the power button down for 20-30 seconds with the battery out, then cleared the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and wait 10 minutes and that didn't work. Now, the motherboard is getting hot while the charger is plugged it, but it doesn't turn on, even though the charger works.
