Not sure if will work for all but I got my touchpad working again by switching to basic in the bios, installing I2C driver from acer site in windows then changing back to advanced in the bios. Working a charm at the minute.

    The I2C driver is in with the IO driver package. It says in Bios that you must have I2C driver installed before switching to advanced or it will not work.
