I have installed all the drivers for my laptop from http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/acer/laptops-desktops/aspire-e5-511/165601 and still my touchpad doesn't work. I dont have an external mouse and I am using numeric pad to control my cursor. Is there any other drivers I need to install? PLEASE HELP!

    Hello!

It is always best to install drivers from Acer's support site - programs like "Driverscape" have been known to install wrong drivers on occasion!

Go to Acer support for your region & select "Drivers & Manuals" then enter your details.

If you're having navigation issues, can you borrow a mouse from a friend until you're fixed?

Did you uninstall the old one first?

I went into my bios settings and set touchpad to basic. Now the touchpad works but gestures don't.

Use System restore, to go back to a point where the touchpad worked. I'd also change your "BIOS settings" & change it back.
