I'm looking to delete all my bloatware from my laptop. I have a Acer Aspire e15 575g rj and I have no clue what to delete. Could anyone give me a list of bloatware for me? Or just screen shot it for me? I'm not 100% savvy with computers.

    Pls describe the problem further.

Is the machine running very slowly?

It's running pretty normal, I just wanted to see if I could get any better performance out of it. Plus, I'm not going to use most of the programs on this thing anyway. Might as well see if I could squeeze out a little more memory space.

Alright, this is what you need to do

But before that, have you partitioned your hard drive?

You must do so, if you haven't done that.

If you don't know how to do that I'll assist you

Also what OS or Windows are you using?

Any case, pls send me a list of all installed programmes first.

    Use this command

    1. Press   Win + r ( run command) at the same time or

Goto start >>> search >>> type this word in the search space:

    RUN

    2. In the run dialogue box type this:

    msconfig

    Afterwards press enter

    3. A dialog box will appear

    Please select start up programmes

You'll see all programmes you have installed them manually

Write down their names and sizes for each programme

Don't forget to answer the two questions in your next post

I have a EFI System Partition and a Recovery Partition... Idk if that means it's been partitioned already or if its just extra space for system and recovery...

    I'm running windows 10.

I did what you said and it directed me to the startup tab on task manager. I don't how much space the apps are taking up but this is the list that's in front of me...

    Acer Portal

    Dashlane

    DashLane Plugin

    GOG Galaxy

    Intel Turbo Boost Tech. Monitor

    McAfee Security Scanner Scheduler

    Microsoft Windows Based Script Host

    Microsoft OneDrive

    Nvidia Backend

    Nvidia Server Proxy

    Realtek HD Audio MAnager

The under listed programmes suggest to me as system programmes but not user

    Installed programmes

In this case what I will suggest is to get yourself external drive for back up

I want you to run this command and give me your system info

    1. Press Win + r = run ( at the same time)

    2. Pls type:

    Systeminfo

I want to know the total hard drive size you have or

    Right click on Computer

    Select properties

You will find your system information

Let me advice you from this onwards.

Deleting files  free spaces but it doesn't mean your machine will run fast

What you need to learn from this time is system management

System management will help you to run a lot of programmes effectively and very fast

System management is the only way to check on your machine daily for quality performance

With system management, you should know when the machine is running slowly or fast

And with system management you'll know effectively when virus get their way into your system

So now your machine is perfectly working, I'll suggest to you that I teach about four or five basic system management operations.

Ok. If there's really nothing I can do then I shouldn't really mess with it. If system management is the only thing I really can do for now, I'll be good with some tips and stuff but I don't want to add another app if I'm not going to use it. If you don't want to write it out here, it's cool. Thanks for the info, I've learned a little about how to run my machine now. Haha Thanks again.

Not that I can't write them here. I only said that in my previous post that

Incase I don't log on to this platform early, you could send me a private message off

    Line.

I'm into database programming and as well as a teacher. So I hardly sign in unless I receive an email that someone has tag a post

Anyway this is what I can do for you.

    Few system management weekly practices

    Pls note

Try to rehearse them at least once or twice in week

    1. Disable all start up programmes

    Reason:

For quick booting and faster laughing of application

    How to do this

Press Win + r (at the same time)= run

    Type this: msconfig

From the task manager, pls locate start up programmes tab

    Disable every programme

    Restart machine after this task

    2. Delete temporary files

    Reason

Too many temporary files consume memory and spaces

    Win + r = run

    Pls type: %tmp%

    Select all programmes

    Delete all selected items

    3. Don't display too many icons on your desktop

    Reason:

    Every icon consumes about 500mghz

    What to do:

On your desktop, make sure you have a maximum of 7 icons displaying there

    4. Delete browsing history

    Reason

    For faster browsing

     What to do:

    Win + r= run

    Pls type: inetcpl.cpl

On the internet option dialog box

    Goto connection tab

    Select delete

Follow the next dialog box and select all that apply

    Choose delete

    5. Recycle bin

Make sure your bin is always empty

Too many files consume your memory

    6. page file settings

With this option, you're to do it with caution.

I'll post everything concerning this point in my next post

So I'll urge you to go through all that I have listed above.

If there's anyone you're lost or not getting it, let me know
