my card reader got a white light (no blinking) when i put in my 8gb sandisk SDHC card 

the SDHC card is disk E

it cannot read it although i test many ways(unistall driver,system restore,update new drivver,ect)

i remember it can be read before i upgrade it from win8 to win8.1

Have you tried any other SD/SDHC card in your card reader? Also can you check your Device Manager and see if there are any abnormalities (i.e yellow marks, exclamation marks). If so I would recommend reinstalling that driver.

To download drivers, visit http://www.acer.com/worldwide/, select your region, then click Support -> Downloads and Manuals. Select your model and operating system for the correct drivers. If we do not have a Windows 8.1 card reader driver then the Windows 8 should work. If you are still having problems there may be an issue with compatibility with Windows 8.1 and the card reader or a hardware issue with the reader itself.
