I had purchased my Acer A5600U-UR11 Touchscreen in December of 2012 (BRAND NEW.) It had given me no issues, until one day, my computer was unable to fix through Automatic repair, and I do not want to troubleshoot it completely, because I do not want to lose my files (I have photos of loved ones that have passed, that I do not want to lose.)
I had removed the back of my desktop, but once opened, I was unable to locate the hard-drive. I have NEVER done this before.
I purchased a SATA/IDE USB 2.0 adapter, so I can hopefully save/drag whatever files off the harddrive, to my laptop, then completely reboot my desktop.
Where can I find my hard-drive to remove it?

what issue that you got there? If it's all about the operating system, you can just install a new Operating System on a different partition (Google it) and then just delete the old operating system, it'll not affect your files, but make sure you backed up it first.

I'm not sure, but I cannot get past the Acer loading page. IT will just tell me "Auto Recovery failed" or something like that. I need to find the hard-drive in the back of the computer, so I can remove it. But, I am not sure where the hard-drive is located.

First off, how did you remove the back cover?
From looking at the picture, the hard drive is in the upper right hand corner of the machine, you can see the connectors facing towards the outside of the case.
hope that helps
