forgot to say I have emachine EL1333G, windows 7 home premium 64 bit desktop. Problem started when FBI virus blocked my PC & disabled all security apps., my c: drive etc. I finally booted with either F12 or  F8 & ran emachines recovery management. After that my color was gone from monitor. Device Manager says drivers are OK. I don't know how to use display caliber or color manager. I've tried personalization. I need article that would walk me through it. Help please.

You may shut down the computer and monitor, remove the VGA cable connected to the computer.

Then connect the video cable and check the if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists, post back with the name of the video adapter displayed in device manager.
