I am not tech savvy and hope this makes sense...

New Aspire AXC-105-ES30 had since Christmas

In the middle of browsing the hard drive shut down. In the metal strip (where the power button is) there is a cylinder looking thing that is usually lit up. That completely shut off, then my monitor says it has no signal. I checked the power and it's all plugged in.

Any thoughts? I've rebooted it and it seems to be okay...But I don't know if I did something wrong.

Hi it sounds like it is still under warranty so use that to solve the problem. Take it back to where you bought it or contact Acer.
