You can either plugin speakers or headphones to that jack. The port will be commonly listed as headphone jack. You can connect speakers as well. Please install the sound card and let me know the result.

I have Sound!!!!!

At first I did not, after installation. Went into device manager, saw that dreaded downward arrow over the sound blaster. Clicked on it, enabled it, and at last, sound.

A couple items were unable to be installed during the installation process. I had to say okay to that for the install to continue. They both seemed related to updating (a concern which I will contact creation support about).  The point is, I have sound.

You should be able to award Kudos to posts by other members.  If you do not have that option, please feel free to send me a Private Message along with a screenshot of what you see.

Ok, I think I see the issue. Kudo's are ghosted in my post but not in others who reply to my post. So to give suniljp kudo's, i need to wait for them to reply, then i can give kudo's to their reply. Once that happens, I'll also mark as solved so others can perhaps get some help with similar issue(s). Thanks.

 I am so happy to know that the issue is solved. The USB sound card u purchase is of decent quality it support many features might be those features failed to install during the installation process. Visit creative website and check if there is any updated drivers for your sound card. How good is the sound quality? Let me know did you install the software from the CD or it automatically took from windows? This sound card you can use it any windows computers. It’s an asset.

I was able to see the picture you have posted. In that I can see how excited you are after solving the sound issue our self. Thank you for the picture. Thanks again.

Windows detected the sound card as soon as i plugged it in, then it showed that message saying installing drivers, but didn't do anything. I inserted the cd and and installed using that. Took about 1/2 hour to totally install. Not to bad.

Yes, quite excited to have my sound back. Thanks a bunch.
