I am looking to upgrade a clients computer and i need to know the compatibility of CPU's that i can install. I am currently looking at the Q9505 as someone suggested that it is supported. But i'd like to be sure.

I understand you don't accept it but i will not tell my customer he has to buy an entire new computer just so he can have a faster processor that he can have for far less then a computer.
All i want is a compatible upgrade list for this motherboard. I don't care if you list one from when the computer was made, I just want to know what CPU's i can put in it. If you need a computer tower model it is a Veriton M265

hi!
sorry to jump in this post but I have a very similar issue:
have to replace a missing cpu for a M460 with mb acer ef31m v 1.0
(pc was bought with a bunch others as dismissed: it is missing also ram, hd, sata cables :-) so if any other hint for those, thanks)
are the same processors usable on this mb for this model? any other infor needed or hint?
Thanks,
Marco

This should be it's own topic, as it is not the same system.
If you can provide the part number of the system or the serial number, I can find out what shipped on the system.

Thanks, I replied here since I thought the topic was "EG31M CPU compatibility", as the thread title reports.
Specific model was just part of a follow up, anyway, I'll open another thread.
