I have a new Acer Predator AG3-605-UR22. This machine has a DVD-RW. The PC this is replacing has a Blu-Ray burner, and I would like to install the Blu-Ray burner into my new Acer.
Problem is, I can't figure out how to get to the backside of the drive cage. Looking from the front of the machine, I cannot get the right side panel to remove. Also, even though the left hand panel comes off easily, I can't figure out how to get the cage off. Tried to use the three tabs that hold the front bezel on and "swing" the front panel off like a door, but that is not coming off as easily as I would like. Feel like the front panel may come off, but I don't want to break it.
Anyone have an idea on how to get to the optical drive out and replaced on this unit?

hi...
In this model,to remove the bezel, you need to remove only the left hand panel.

Thanks. Didn't try turning the machine over to remove the front bezel.
When you say, "Remove the hooks"...I assume you are talking about the three plastic hooks that hold the bezel to the metal frame of the case.
Thanks again for your reply.
