The chromebook powers on however the screen does not. I have removed and disconnected the screen, then reinstalled it. It worked for a day. But upon closing the laptop for the night and reopening the next, it stopped working. I have tried a hard reset to no avail. Warrenty is expired. So would replacing the screen resolve this? It works so is this a hardware issue with the connecter, either on the screen side or is it something with the laptop itself?

Edit: Just now when I attempted to turn it on to see if the screen would work, it did. Only to say the OS was missing. Then the screen went black with white lines. Hit the space bar and the screen went black but backlit so it was working. So that was something new.
