You have to have a wifi connection? Is there any way around this setup utility because I don't have a wifi router.?

Hi..

You need to have a WiFi conection and a Google account to login into your Chromebook.

You may try to login as Guest, you need WiFi conenction since Chromebook is shipped with web based operating system.
