I need to purchase recovery media for my chromebook C720P-2457 4GB 32 SSD Touchscreen. It is easy to make if you have the same model.

Naturally, I expect to pay for this service.

    Hi PTKAP,

Actually, the great thing about Chromebooks is that you don't need to pay for media. While Acer doesn't provide the software it is available for download from any Windows, Mac or Linux PC (as well as the Chromebook of course).

Here is the Google Support article: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en

With a Windows PC, you need Chrome browser installed, and add the Chrome Recovery App. You'll need a 4g USB flash drive or SD Card. Run the app and it will let you select the C720 to create an image from and it will download the image. Once you have the image, we have an article to help you get started.

    Hope this helps,

    Great PTKAP,

If my response was in line with how you resolved your issue would you mark it as the solution? If not, could you tell us what solution you used?

    Thanks,
    Cory
