I don't think it's an issue with the BIOS, but rather a lack of 3 drivers. Power Management works fine in Linux Mint and Android-x86 here. In Windows, it's missing the 2 drivers for the I2C, and there's 1 ACPI driver that's missing.

the problem is, as soon as i try to install windows 7 on my chroombook. but it keep feezing up on me. IDK if i need the proper drivers, or i need to upgrade the memory or something? i'm a noob at this, so be easy on me...

Do you have install the graphics driver if you don"t do that: install windows 7 and download driverpack solution (http://drp.su/). driverpack solution is a free auto driver installer but you have to install teamviewer before for fix the black screen (after install the drivers you will get a black screen). View the other messages for know how to fix it.
There are no touchscreen, no keyboard, no touchpad and no power management ...

I tested the installer of WinX Tech Preview on a HP Chromebook 14. I was able to GHOST32 a copy of the Chromebook's 16GB SSD to a VHDX, and to a USB SDXC card with no problems.
No keyboard or touchpad recognized OOTB.
The Chrombook isn't mine, so I didn't touch the internal SSD and WinX refused to install on to a USB hard drive.
