Aspire M7200 power up

Hi Guys

          for the last week when i press the power button on my M7200 nothing happens then after  10 to 30 seconds it starts to boot up, Never been like this before usually press the button and it boots up straight away, any ideas

    Check AC cable in the back of your M7200, check CMOS battery voltage (maybe it's going low).

     

    if both are OK, can be a capacitor on the power supply unit (PSU) that is going crazy and need a little more time to be fully operative.

    Hi IronFly

                 have changed cable and opened computer to check CMOS battery, but i can' see one.. i know there has to be one but where they have hidden it, will have a look around web for a motherbord manual and say what it says.. thanks for your help

    back into the computer and took out the GPU  and there the battery, will get a new one tomorrow
