can you please post the hardwareID of your wifi adapter?

    click on network adapters
    double click on wifi adapter
    choose "Details" tab
    from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs
click on the first value and copy/paste it here

I downloaded file 15.6.0.14 and attempted to update the driver and it said the windows determined that file 15.6.1.13 is the latest version. i do not think so

if windows said so, why you need drivers, since they are already installed?

    I stilll get this notificatiom

    Applies to Windows 10

Your app doesn't work with Windows 10

The app you're trying to use was blocked from opening because it might damage your PC or result in loss of data. This is because some apps that worked with a previous version of Windows might not work in the same way with Windows 10.

Go to the support website for the app developer, and check if a new or updated version of this app is available for Windows 10.

that's a windows/broadcom issue and it's related to broadcom icon on notification bar.

    open task manager:

    ctrl+shift+esc keys

    click on more details

    click on Startup tab

disable the Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter Wireless Network  Tray Applet
