Acer Aspire TC-780 DVD burner problems

My Slimtype DVD A reads OK but burns are extremely slow - about 1 hour for a DVD. The resultant DVD works OK but surely the burn time should be very much faster. I thought I had already posted this problem but it seems to have gone missing. Apologies if this is a repeat.

    Hi

It could be the burner software, so look for an alternative.

There may be settings for a buffer on read and write to keep the burner fed with data.

You may be able to set the write speed, or the disks may be single speed write.

Using DVDFab. Set write speed to 3 times and now getting better results. Thanks.
