Hi Acer-Cory,
When I press Check now for update, I get the message "Update servce temporarily unavailable.Please try again later. Status code: 1004". Been like that for a few days.
How can I get the update? FYI, I am in Israel.

Youtube is still not fixed, there was an app update, but videos are still messed up, so the problem is deffinitely not on the googles side. And the screen sensitivity is worsened since 4.4 update. Will there be a fix for this?
Or atleast a tutorial on how to downgrade along with pre 4.4 system image?

Ok, it has been a more than a month since the latest reply from acer. Is acer doing anything to fix the problems? And give us a kitkat rom with the problems fixed or simply a jellybean image and a tutorial on how to downgrade?

Yes. ACER support on these issues is not good. The work around for my NETFLIX issue was to load an older version of NF. Lucky that someone here advised that, but ACER support did not. NF works, but that is not good. I am afraid to update NF and had to turn off auto updates to prevent a new version from loading.
Touch pad sensitivity is also poor now. Not so much the keyboard, but in browsers when navigating or touching screen icons.
ACER shouldn't least communicate with us on this. Here in the US we have a big buying season coming. I was going to buy a tab for the kids and like some of the new ACER tabs with Intel chips. Not likely after this experience.

We dont need workarounds - we need fixes. Soon.
This all could be (probably) remedied with one small hotfix only if Acer would start doing something about it or even acknowledge problems with kitkat update.
