b1tablet speaker wont turn off when headphones pluggedin

Sound is coming through headphones and speaker om my iconia b1 tablet only had it for 3days is it faulty

    I can only suggest that you ensure the headphones are fully inserted in the jack.

    I know this is an old topic but I've found what can cause this.

     

    Theres a very stupid design flaw in the B1-710

    The headphone jack doesn't sense headphones with the 4 conductor plugs that are used when the headphones have a built in mic.e

    I don't care that the mic doesn't work it's a tablet, not a phone.... But its just plain bad design for the headphones to not work and the speakers to stay on.....

     

    Big FAIL for the engineering dept at Acer on this one....
