Tablet Tampered With?

I bought a "allegdly" refurbished A3-A30 from Argos e-bay. When I boot into fastboot it says:

PRODUCT_NAME - omega

VARIANT - A3-A30

HW_VERSION -

BOOTLOADER VERSION - unknown

UEFI VERISON - 1.0.6

SERIAL NUMBER - **************

SIGNING - ?

SECURE_BOOT - ?

E:No valid installer medium found

To me it looks like this has been tampered with? Will reflashing the stock firmware correct this?

And where can I get the stock ROM for the A3-A30, can't find it anywhere.

And I can't take it back as the warranty has now expired. It worked fine for a while but now randomly shutsdown. I wanted to re-flash it - to see if this fixed the issue and that's when I discovered the above.

Any help would be grateful!!

there are 2 downloads available for you model but i don't know if it's a full image:

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6014?b=1

    click on OS

    give it a try

I flashed the ROM and then updated. Still have the same issue - random shutdowns. I guess a battery replacement is next.

Anyway I should have looked on Acer.com before as I only checked acer.co.uk - rookie error.

Why is it though that the fastboot doesn't contain all the details? Is that normal in your experience?

    Cheers.
