Hello, I have replaced from Best Buy my Iconia One 7 tablet, model B1-770.

I just now receveid the replacement but is completely different. No Google Play Store, No Player, No pre-installed app .... is really stock.

I have tried to install Android Play Store manually, version 6.0, 5.12, 5.4 and 5.0, each time, try to open, is close automaticly. I have cleared the cache of app and restarted the tablet, no more result.

I have also no update feature (in about). Is normal ? How can install Google Play Store ?

Looks to me like there's been a load of some third party OS or something. The build should not be a test image. Is there a chance they gave you a returned unit? The unit is a new enough model they don't have OS images on the support site yet, but I bet Acer support could reflash it to the stock OS again.

Neostra is a third party producer.....

it's quite strange that a market device had this kind of OS, since it's a test image, maybe someone forgot to flash the correct image from manufacter.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

By chance, have you tried reloading to factory defaults? We can put the right operating system on it at the depot, but if you can reset it to what it should be on your end that may save some time.

I do also have a request in place to have the operating system uploaded for customers to download and update with. Smiley Happy

Yes, I have already reset to default, this is the first step I have made when I have powered up the tablet.

With the first tablet, I have got the Startup Wizard, with this new one (the tablet of the subject). No Wizard.

    If a compare the two tablets (note; I have buyed the first tablet and returned for a new after 2 week, because can't update the OS because some files was modified, on suggest of help by Facebook);

    - No Google service

    - No Google Play App

    - No Chrome browser

    - No Acer Apps (for shares docs, musics etc...)

    - No Wizard

    - No option for "look for update"

I have also run the "root integrity check" and all is OK.

You have 2 days for help me about that, I'm return to Best Buy (saturday) for "re"-change this tablet for another if I'm not have a Android working with Google Play Store and services....

Sorry but it's last time I buy a Acer product. No great support, no working drivers for PC (Tablet use the Microsoft Driver, the setup do not install right drivers), No ADB/Fastboot support under Windows and Bootloader locked (can't force re-install firmware with bootloader locked).

I have less problems with a china products (like CUBE).

    levelKro,

Without the operating system posted for downloading to install onto the tablet we are limited to having it serviced at our repair depot to get reloaded with the correct software. I can understand your frustration with the situation honestly, but this is a pretty rare thing that has happened.

The B1-770 operating system is available for download on our drivers page.

Thank you, I confirm, it's work. Update make approx. 5-10 minutes for completing.

Thank you again, I don't need to re-change this tablet.
