Flash not working on games

I have downloaded and installed the Adobe Flash APK file but flash is still not working. I have an Iconia A510 tablet.

I am trying to use flash on kids games - Agnitus and Zoodles, but no success. I have asked both Agnitus and Zoodles for support but they have no idea why flash isnt working on the tablet, but it works fine on my phone (Galaxy S3) for the kids games.

I have been trying to get this fixed for almost a year.

Can anyone help me??

Please?

updating your tablet doesn't matter on this issue, at least reading the games issues.

i don't know if other Acer tablets can be afflicted byt those issues.

    sorry.

Those games are browser games or they have their own application?

they have their own apps. I have no problem with flash on browser as I use Dolphin Browser.

i'm just guessing, that A510 was based on nvidia Tegra chip and probably has some missing libraries needed to play those flash games.

so i think that an official fix is not available.

those games when launched, didn't start or gave some popup errors?

you are correct that it uses NVIDIA Tegra....yea, the games just didnt start. No popup errors.

So, there is no fix and I cant use flash games on my tab? Disappointing....

Without an error message or a log, it will be very hard to find a fix.

Do you know if there is any way to find a log or error message in the tab? I also saw this website:

    http://www.nvidia.ca/object/adobe_flashplayer_plus_nvidia.html

Do you think that can help?

No, that adobe flash is for Windows OS, not android.

about logs, it depends where and if application saves it; by the way this is something that must be done by the games software houses.

I went to nVidia for assistance and they advised the following:

Tegra chipset can be used to play high end games so Flash games wouldn't be an issue.

However, as informed earlier this is a limitation of the Android OS which doesn't allow to install Flash games

I dont know what to do anymore. I know its not the Android OS as my phone plays the games fine. Is there anything I can do or am I stuck with a tablet that wont work for my kids?

alright, so Ive factory reset the tablet up until the end of step 4. But when I try to update from the SD card I get an error mssg:

    --Install /sdcard/FLASH

    Finding update package...

    Opening update package...

    Verifying update package...

    check.partition.size=[__PROP_UNDEFINED__]

    Installation aborted.

    ....thoughts?

the installer found a problem on storage partition, strange.

by the way, back to adobe flash player,

    1) download it from this link:

    http://fs1.d-h.st/download/00071/Lkm/install_flash_player_ics%20%2819%29.apk

if download doesn't work, try a few times to start it.

    2) Copy your files to the SD card of your Android device. (Be it tablet or smartphone, it makes no difference)

    3) Install it using any File Manager.

    Try to play the games.

gah, so what does that mean? The partition error? I formatted the SD card before I put the files on. Should I try the SD card in my phone? Anything else I can do to update it?

Ill try again tonight with another SD card and also put the flash file on it.

nope, not SD issue, just the tablet internal storage, sometimes happens that jumping from a version to another (maybe 2-3 versions later) aris this issue.

don't worry and follow my instructions about the modified flash player.
