Is it worth updating to KitKat? What are the advantages over Jellybean? Is the UI any different? Pleae post any changes that would make it worth while.

I've also heard that it's quite laggy after the update. Thanks.

I personally think its worth it but I just enjoy having the latest version of an OS on my device...I like the fact it's up to date.

There's not a massive difference in the UI, I think the menus and icons look better. Also my tablet hasn't been laggy at all since the update, it's probably behaved better if anything. Apart from a couple of apps misbehaving, which has been fixed by installing a previous version, KitKat is running great on my tablet. Seem to be getting more out of my battery too. I'm sure the app issues will be resolved soon enough, I waited so long for the update there was no way I was waiting any longer haha.

All that said, I seem to be having a problem with street view on maps....its not loading Amy actual image/map just a blur. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas ?

I still want to hear that no one else is having trouble with their microSD reader after the upgrade...before I upgrade and ruin everything.

regarding the microSD card issue - ive found no issues - i have a sandisk 32g card with movies, magazines, music, pics etc. on it - the only thing is that apps now can only install data to internal storage - games such as bards tale you could save the installed data files to sd card - now its only to internal storage - hope that helps

My tablet gets here Saturday, so I'm trying to educate myself on everything that can and has gone wrong before I get into a mess.

I'm a Mac guy to boot, so hopefully the different OS dosn't throw me.

Can someone try street view on maps and tell me if it works for them?

I really rely on it and it's not working it's just a blur when clicked?!

Street view is blurry in google maps, however works perfect in google earth and third party apps that include street view
