I doubt that Android L (5). will be released soon enough and really not sure the A1-810 will be getting this update in it's full brew.

Incompatibility will be higher than with previous Android version for this tablet. Not a 100% sure. But it sure does look like it.

As for now the réal issue is the security breach until we receive KitKat we are not protected at all.

Please Acer Team. We need this update to use our device securely.

And it's about time.

I just checked on my side...but still no update available for me...
I can't wait to get it.... As I really wish My Device Was Secured From The HEARTBLEED breach

It does not say anything more that we...know

there is still no dates for the Rollout of KitKat 4.4.4

You just received an update for 4.2.2. as it will give insights that kitkat is on the way...

But you cannot say that we are closer to KitKat...
Still we will have to wait...

And really Acer Team what is the deal with not securing all of it's user's devices ?
Please make it available soon...we are all at Risk with HEARTBLEED breach and it is uncool...since January 2014...
