Hi Folks.  I borrowed a ZC-606 from work for a charity night. Got it to the event and it was dead. Zero power. I know it worked before as it is the one I use at work.  Power light (turn on button) does not light up, no fan noise or anything.  I have taken back off and checked for any obvious loose cables (none). I have reseated anything that looked obvious, including memory.  I have tried another power cord off another machine and still nothing.  With the back off I can confirm zero activity, ie no power to unit or fan. I suppose it could be possible the power on button is faulty but what are the chances of that???

Does anyone have any similar experience or can suggest a logical flow of trying to rectify.  This machine has worked perfectly (now on Windows 10) with no other hardware problems for years.

Any help greatfully received,

Thanks

the only way to check if the power supply or power button is working, is using a multimeter but you must know the point where to check it.

it's better to ask a check to an electronics techinician.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
