Hello, after installing all available windows 8.1 updates from the Acer website for my laptop Aspire E1-531NXM12EH004 running on Windows 8.1(after upgrade), I get this message:

"This system does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software." when installing update "VGA_Intel_10.18.10.3304_W81x64".

Are there more people encountering this problem?  Is this a failure made by Acer ?

Unfortunately Acer customer service isn't responding to my questions, so I would give it a try overhere.

IMO the "VGA_Intel_10.18.10.3304_W81x64" update isn't compatible for my laptop, because this contains a 2nd gen Intel Pentium Core(B960) with  Intel R HD graphics 2000,  the "readme" file displays something else:

Hi, Got the same problem with my wifes V5-572P aspire laptop one month old after upgrading to 8.1

the display is garbled when ever the screen goes to sleep, have to power off and then back on again

Tried the same driver and got the same message

Contacted acer Support? after a while they could not come up with an answer

even told me to restore from the recovery partition which took over 5 hrs to complete

Still the same...Acer gave up and asked me to try microsoft?

    Great Support eh!

given up and now restored back to windows 8... for now

    Hope you have better luck...

Smiley SurprisedThat is even more strange, because the specs of your wife's notebook (i3/hd4000 = 3th gen) should be compatible with this installation.
