I have a a500 tablet suddenly the very top of the screen doesn't respond to touch. I have to constantly rotate the screen when using it.
I have had this tablet for a year. I had to send it back to acer to have power button replaced.
I have searched the internet for answers. Unable to find anything like this.
any help will be greatfully appreciated.
I use it in my job.
Have you tried a soft reset with a paperclip ?
Yes I have tried the soft reset it didn't fix it. I have tried a hard reset. Still didn't change anything. Desperate for answer?
I would suggest that it's possibly a hardware fault given that you have reset the Android system and therefore not something you could fix yourself, unfortunately. If you have an ex SD card fitted this may interest you :http://techchannel.radioshack.com/fix-unresponsive-touchscreen-1269.html
