how do i disable touch click on the touchpad

I REALLY want to disable the touch click function on the touchpad. After trying the usual route and then googling it, I can't find an answer that applies. Every answer out there mentions some options that aren't in any of the menu options that I have.

Aspire V5 running Windows 8

I've installed Touchfreeze to at least stop it while I'm typing.

Try Fn +F7and see if that works. It really depends on the exact model of the comptuer.
