How could anyone who designed a Notebook so lovely, design an extra battery so ugly? What are they thinking. We deserve better. Maybe they should attend the Apple, ASUS and Lenovo design school. I am not going to ruin my Acer S7-391 with what is a butt ugly extra battery. Is it possible that, they just don't get it. Why would anyone place an extra battery that looks like this on such a nice and elegant notebook? All of the reviews talk about the poor battery life of the S7, so you would think Acer would have hit the extra battery design out of the park, just to quite the critics.
Thanks for allowing me to rant.

"But not only that, many people want 2 power supplies, one for a permanent fitting on their desk, and another for travel. You can't even buy a second power supply right now."
I've now got my external battery... does anyone know if the 2nd power supply can be ordered yet? I've tried with LiteOn and several other places, but cant seem to track one down. Any tips on where to get one of these?

I got just over 10 hours on battery, though admittedly, I wasn't at the computer at all times, so the screen was set to turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity and sleep after 15 minutes, but never away for too long. I'm happy with the way it performed so far, and it should get better after a few full discharge cycles.
Can i check with anyone who has used the extended battery.
1, Does charging the extended battery while it is plugged in into the laptop charge the main laptop battery too?
2, How has your experience been with the new battery in general ?

have read that it is "planned" to be released at some point in time. I have been wondering when for a month or two now, and there hasnt' been a peep. My choice to buy the S7 over the Ideapad Yoga13 hinged almost completely on the fact that there would be an extended battery back at some point in time. While I do love the S7, the weak keyboard and battery life are a concern.
Hopefully they release some information soon; othwise if Lenovo puts out a new Yoga in 6 months, I have have to sell my Acer batteria .
