The system you describe ships with 6GB of DDR3 RAM.
If you would like to install more than that, you will require DDR3 1333 soDIMMs.

you won't really notice the difference if you upgrade from 6gb to 8gb

Replaced 2gb stick with 4gb ddr3 corsair before second turnon with seemingly perfect results. t u

The main difference from 6gb to 8gb is the RAM memory bandwidth increase
due to dual channel mode technology when using pairs of the same capacity.
Not sure why people recommend to buy 1333 DDR3 as the current CPUs
include a memory controller than can handle the faster 1600 MHz DDR3 too.
