Hi I have what I think is a g7700

It has a oem mobo of acer ms7510 also known as a p7n diamond I think.

I have a dual nvidia sli gpu setup which is capable of sending audio via the dvi output to hdmi. I have the lead but I cant find anywhere where I can plug the s/pdif cable into the motherboard. Is the motherboard compatible? If so where are the pins located please?

Can you please explain what you are attempting to do?

Does the S/PDIF jack on the rear I/O panel not work for what you are doing?

Please note that the DVI port does not transmit audio signals.

Hi the s/pdif works, the problem lies with the input into the receiver/tv these ports are both being used. So I wanted to get audio through my gfx cards I think they are 9600gt nvidia these allow input from motherboard s/pdif into the card and apparently they can send sound via dvi to hdmi cable.

JSP1 is the S/PDIF out connector; it is immediately to the left of the PCI connections.

I think perhaps you mean that it would combine both S/PDIF and the DVI signals into a converter for HDMI ?

The DVI port would still not be transmitting audio, that would come from the S/PDIF.
