    Hi Thandi!

Connect your mobile to your laptop via the USB cable. Make sure your phone is switched on, and logged in (if necessary).

Windows will bring up an autoplay box, click on "Open folder to view files". Double click the Phone Drive & search for DCIM. Inside that folder will be another folder called Camera, inside that will be your photos. You may now copy & paste (or drag & drop) them to your "My Pictures" folder.

Alternatively, you can use the Samsung Kies software, downloadable here.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

Thank you for that response.  I tried the cable but no "Autoplay" box appeared.  The cable acted as a charging piece which is not what I wanted.

Perhaps I should try the Samsun Kies device.

    Thank you.

PS I purchased the universal cable device from Radio Shack and maybe that was the problem.

    Hi Thandi

Once you connect your phone, you will need to "log in" on your phone, I.E, type in your pin no, or whatever security you use. If there is still no pop up box, then it will be in your COMPUTER folder!

Samsung Kies will be worth installing if you have any problems!

Thank you for your response.  I will re-try this effort.
