Hello,

It is just a couple of weeks when my new Acer aspire V3-471G started with high fan sound almost all the time as the it turned on as well as a clicky sound came from the HD. When I asked for a solution from store where I bought it I just got answered that the HD sounds might be caused from careless handling and the fan as well.

I believe in that I hadn`t used it without precaution since I bought it. Should I ask acer for solution or do I have to fix hardware defects on my own since the store claimed that all these defects are user responsability and out of their warranty    includes??

I had the exact same issue with my Acer and it started within a week of me purchasing. Just to forewarn you....my fan continued to get louder and louder. In addition, my HD also made a weird clicking noise that continued to get worse as well. After about a year my pc/HD began to just power off on its own. My HD just seems to be fried now....the loud fan and clicking is constant and everyday. I can't even get it to stay powered on for longer than 5 minutes now without it powering off by itself. I just gave up on it today and purchased a Dell. I do not think I will ever purchase Acer anything ever again!
