That is a great design zipman. There are times that I find myself needing to use the touchpad when I have the R7 in Ezel mode so i have to reach under the screen to do so. a smaller touchpad below the keyboard would make it easier.

My replacement R7 ...SNID 330... seems to be fine
So Guys... looks like the advice I recieved from ACER re SNID of 328..and above is correct.
If Buying, do nt touch one witha SNID of 327 or below - there seems to be still plenty on the shelves

Well, I thought I had waited long enough to get one that works.
Purchased original end of May.
Didn't have an extra $1,000 to tie up.
Spent last week without a laptop, only to get a brand spanking new SNID of 321.....
50 Mbps next to router.
2 Mbps 20 feet away.
The funny thing is I received a FedEx return label with the brand new R7. A day later, I received yet another return label in the mail.
Did they know they made a mistake????????????
Frustrated.

Thank you DISMAYEDUK for following up on SNID 330... BB is closed on Sep 2nd grabbing unit next week if it is still available.... fingers crossed.

yeah mine is a SNID 320
lol .. just a quistion .. does BB return the laptop even after the 15 days ?? i had it for about a month now ?? does that work or no luck ?

nope. BB is 14 days only. Go the acer service route.

I bought two of these
I Bought them for $810 each
and recieved a $100 in gift cards
So I got both of them for $1510
I used the gift card to get the insurance coverage at BB
They are wonderful to deal with
They will either fix or replace my units
Even if its accidental damage
I dont have to worry about all this
I take my PC to them snfd they take care of it
Hassle Free
Get the coverage
glad that is over
They are very aware of the problems
There are many factors going on
Windows 8
Your internet provider
and Acer
We are in transition
This isa Best Buy even with the WIFI problem
The rest is delightful
I couldnt find a better bang for my buck
Im insured now
Such Peace of mind You may want to ask about it

SO HOW CAN I CONTACT ACER LIKE SMOE OF U GUYS DID ??? i wanna try to get a replacment unit .. mine keeps freezing and te screen do not work sometime ... and the WIFI that we all know about lol !!!! s there a # that i can call for send them an email ??? Thanks

I told in my previous post that I did send my r7 back to Acer, today it was delivered back at my house.
As some people might expect, the wifi problem still occurred.
I'm going to contact acer again.
I don't know what to do, I still have the option to return it (this week) but I do like this laptop very much.
I'm from the Netherlands and bought the R7 at BCC
For the people who care, my SNID starts with 324***. (edit)
So that doesn't help, I guess.
I'm really frustated right now, I don't know why Acer is acting like a bitch.
Seriously, why say something is fixed when it's obviously not.
I used to be really happy about Acer and telling everybody about it, but I can only talk about the bad stuff.
