Olympus ditigal photo chip?

Hi. am new to all this...but want to know if the Olympus photo chip in my FE-310 camera will fit into my Acer Aspire 5749z laptop?? there 'seems' to be a 'chip slot', but can not get my camera chip into it....it looks to be the same size..but not.

Is there some other way to down load photos on the to laptop.... i do not have a ubs cord...[lost]

You will need to describe the "photo chip" a bit more accurately.

Assuming that you remove it from the camera, what does it say on it?
