I just bought an Acer V3-731-4470 and am getting very frustrated with typing on this keyboard.

I am getting really frustrated and don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I can be typing away and all of a sudden my sentence gets chopped and the cursor is somewhere else.  Am I touching something that is making this happen?

Also I wish these keys weren't where they are on the left \ and the right \ as they are in the position where I'm used to using the shift key.  Is there a way to disable this key? I won't even use it. Thanks for any help!

I hope I can help alleviate some of the frustration.

It sounds like you are accidentally touching the touchpad and moving the cursor while typing.  This causes the cursor to jump to a different location and the issue you are describing.

It is possible to turn the touchpad on and off by using the Fn+F7.

I'm not sure which keys you are talking about here:

If you can tell us which key is giving you issues, it may be possible to address it.
