I have a Acer Aspire  V3-731-4477 and I need to know if I have to have a recovery disc to restore it

Todays machine dont come with Recovery discs. You must create the recovery discs using the Acer Recovery Management. You will need atleast 3-5 blank DVD's. You click on Start, All programs, Acer, Acer eRecovery Management, Create Factory Default Disc.

I have a similar problem. I don't seem to be able to come up with a compatible disk. I receive error message 0x207, which is disk is not compatible.

Do you have any guidance on what disk to use, and should they be formatted prior to use with the Acer back up software?
