How do I boot an Aspire One when start repair fails?

My netbook is unable to boot. Every time it gets to loading windows files it stops shortly after and enters the startup repair screen. I have run the startup repair over 10 times without success. I also tried safe mode with no different result. I also tried entering Alt-F10 and modifying the boot option (deleted the /NOEXECUTE=OPTION ...). None of the methods worked and I do not have a CD to even use another computer to create a boot image on a USB stick.

Any ideas?

It sounds like the hard drive is faulty.
