I will need to make a few assumptions here :  Firstly you know how to make a bootable flashstick, secondly you have done many bios updates on many other notebooks.

In case you have not :  Don't do it, get a professional to.

If you can boot to a windows operating system then download the BIOS, unzip it and then Launch "JM4151135.exe" or "JM4151235.exe" to flash BIOS.

    Thank you for the reply,

Actually I have an issue with the monitor, it is always black eventhough the computer seems running fine. I dont see the acer logo or windows loading, it is really black. I followed some forums talking about the same issue and they propose flashing the bios to get back the monitor. I understand that it might be another issue, maybe hardware (hopefully not), but I want just to try if this software solution will work for me ....

Do you have a monitor connected to the notebook to see the display?

Flashing BIOS will not "bring back" a LCD with no display, sounds more like it needs service.
